     This bold little creature threatens its enemies by flexing its front legs up and down, as if it is doing push-ups. This movement also helps the lizard see things from several different angles.
      Fence Lizards will fight if their home ground is invaded. If a small snake gets too close, the lizard will bite the snake and hold on until the snake leaves it alone. If a Fence Lizard is caught by the tail, it will drop its tail and grow a new one later.
