The Kingsnake got its name from the fact that it often
eats other snakes, even other Kingsnakes. It kills by wrapping itself around
a snake to suffocate it, just like a Boa Constrictor does. Kingsnakes also
eat lizards, rodents, birds, and bird eggs. |
