The Vivid Dancer is a kind of damselfly. You can
tell it is a damselfly, and not a dragonfly, by looking at the position of the
wings when the insect is resting. Damselflies fold their wings over their
body, while dragonflies hold their wings outstretched. Also, if you look at
the eyes you’ll see that damselfly eyes are set far apart, while the
dragonfly’s eyes are so close together it looks like it has only one eye.
