Bobcat

|
The Bobcat got its name from its "bobbed" (short) tail. Bobcats live almost anywhere -- in the mountains, in forests and grassy hills, even the desert. They do not dig a den to live in. Instead they hide in hollow logs, or in cracks in large rocks, or in dense brush. Bobcats are solitary (each Bobcat lives alone). They eat rabbits, rodents, birds and bats. And if they can’t find anything else to eat, they will even attack a deer. |
